The pace of activity around here lately is a cross between a dull roar and a frenzy, with several new, exciting projects and initiatives in the works, to be revealed over the next couple of weeks.
We are also working on a better way to communicate with donors and supporters – to better tailor our messages, updates and information and to deepen our conversation with those who believe in what we are doing at Operation Kids.
I am also speaking on nonprofits and social media tonight at the SMC of SLC Social Media Panel. As social media is a continually evolving experience for everyone, I am excited to both give and get ideas and learn from the best.
We are often asked by clients and partner charities to help guide them in their messaging and marketing strategies from a fundraising perspective. As Steve mentioned last week, with a struggling economy, it is crucial for nonprofits to refine their messages, their communication strategies and their donor relations processes. Tonight, I will be sharing some best practices – things we have learned and things we are still working to implement ourselves.
