Annual Lifetime Achievment Award Gala – October 11th

A few weeks ago we mentioned that the 2008 Operation Kids Lifetime Achievement Award was being presented to John Walsh of “America’s Most Wanted” fame. His determination and hard work on behalf of endangered children and victims of crime, certainly qualifies him for this recognition. We also have some great additions to the night to celebrate a lifetime of dedication.

Our headline entertainer this year is Collin Raye. He is not only participating in the Gala, but he will be announcing an ongoing relationship with Operation Kids. We are putting a plan into place to enable Collin’s fans worldwide to help us celebrate the remarkable impact John Walsh has had on the lives of families and children. Stay tuned as we release details on how you can participate in this year’s gala and headline concert.

Our host for the evening will be Dennis Haysbert. Dennis is the familiar face and voice for Allstate Insurance and currently stars on the CBS hit, “The Unit.” Many fans will always remember him as President Palmer on the FOX mega hit “24.

These are just a couple of the great artists and entertainers who have committed to making this the most successful Gala ever. And it is all for the benefit of organization who help keep kids safe including The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the McGruff Safe House Network and the Utah Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Who in your life should get the Lifetime Achievment Award?
